The cosy safari tents provide just the place for families to spend unpressured time together. Roam the spectacular South Downs, hunker down and play Monopoly or venture further afield to the Science Centre or Portsmouth Naval Dockyard. The tents are spick and span after their spring spruce up. The leaves are just beginning to appear on the hawthorn. Two Lapwings have been spotted in a neighbouring field. Spring is definitely on the way, and for me glamping is the perfect way to enjoy it.

Our First Wedding

We’ve come to the end of our 2017 season now and are picking up all the little improvements that will make next year’s season as successful. We’ve now been open three seasons and have nearly reached our first 1000 appreciative guests. This year we hosted our first wedding party and what a romantic day that was with the bride walking out of her tent on a beautiful September morning!

Autumn Breaks
Tt’s time to start thinking about an autumn break. The tents are amazingly cosy and the views are stunning. There is something extra special about toasting marshmallows over a campfire when it’s truly dark and snuggling into one of the comfiest beds you’ll ever sleep in, all whilst under canvas. Gaze at the stars, enjoy the owls hooting and relax.

Of course you’ll find plenty to do during the day as well: imagine relaxing on the platform in the Indian summer sun, strolling into the picturesque village of West Meon or standing on the ramparts on Old Winchester Hill and seeing all the way to the Solent.

We provide everything you will need from bed linen(luxury of course) to board games, butter to bathroom toiletries. We can even make catering easy with our fresh home-cooked meals or recommend an excellent local pub.

With about 100 metres between our two tents you will truly feel you have left normal hustle and bustle behind. Live life in the slow lane for a weekend. Relish the owls hooting or the pheasants clucking. Watch the buzzards soaring overhead. Hear your children running through the meadow. Stride out over the private farm paths. It’s fab up on the site at the moment. The air is still warm during the day and when the evenings cool down you can cosy up to the log burner. Last weekend there seemed to be a rainbow at every turn. I had the chance to spend 4 wonderful nights in this very special place together with my sister and my elderly dad. Buffy prepared a very warm and welcoming arrival for us including flowers, cake and bubbles. Everything was perfectly arranged and super clean and the space is very cleverly thought through. I would recommend this place to everyone since it is also very accessible for elderly people. Thanks Buffy for everything – we spend a wonderful time at your place!
